ZOZO Marine Stadium, home of the Chiba Lotte Marines, sits right on the coast in Makuhari. The ocean breeze makes it significantly colder than the forecast temperature, especially during spring (March-May) and autumn (September-October) night games.
What to wear
Spring/autumn night games
Even if it's 20Β°C (68Β°F) during the day, expect it to feel like 10Β°C (50Β°F) or below at the stadium by 8 PM. Bring a down jacket or windbreaker β you will need it.
Summer day games
The sea breeze actually makes summer games more comfortable than other stadiums. Hat and sunscreen are sufficient.
Essential items
Blanket (a lifesaver on cold nights), hand warmers (kairo β available at convenience stores for Β₯100), windbreaker jacket, warm drink in a thermos, and a seat cushion (the plastic seats get cold).

Marines fans are famous for non-stop jumping, singing, and coordinated cheering. The energy from the crowd actually helps keep you warm. It's one of NPB's most intense fan experiences.
