Modern football, ancient city
Sanga Stadium by KYOCERA, opened in 2020, is home to Kyoto Sanga F.C. Located in Kameoka β just 20 minutes from central Kyoto by train β it offers a unique opportunity to combine professional football with Japan's most culturally rich city.
The stadium
A modern 21,600-seat football-specific venue with no running track. The steep stands bring fans close to the pitch, creating an intense atmosphere that belies the relatively small capacity. The mountain backdrop adds a scenic dimension unique to this stadium.
Getting there
JR Sagano Line from Kyoto Station to Kameoka Station β 20 minutes. The stadium is adjacent to the station. From Osaka, about 50 minutes via JR.
Seats and prices
Main stand: Β₯4,000-5,500 ($27-37). Back stand: Β₯2,500-3,500 ($17-23). Goal end: Β₯2,000-2,500 ($13-17). Very affordable for a modern football-specific venue.
How to buy tickets
